2025 COMMUNITY IMPACT
REPORT

American Fidelity and the American Fidelity Foundation are dedicated to helping make a difference in the communities we serve. In 2025, our Company and Colleagues donated their time and dollars through our annual Allied Arts and United Way campaigns, our monthly Charity Day program, our sponsorship of the KMGL Teacher of the month and more.

Last year American Fidelity and our Foundation supported 246 charitable organizations.

Commited to Making a Difference

We continued our literacy partnership with the Oklahoma City Thunder, making a difference for students across the state and honoring educators. Our STEM Fellowship program provided experience in a corporate IT setting and $2,000 stipends for each of the 15 teachers who participated. We also recorded another high attendance for our MATHCOUNTS event and our Colleagues adopted a record number of angels from our angel tree, helping provide a joyful holiday for 102 children and elderly.
American Fidelity, the Foundation and our Colleagues remain committed to making a difference for those who make a difference and supporting organizations in the communities we serve.

Environmental impact

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

AF celebrated the 55th anniversary of Earth Day with a week of activities!

  • Shred truck
  • Locally grown and sourced meal offerings in our onsite grill
  • Presentations on renewable energy development in Oklahoma and green energy at home
  • Park clean up
  • GBI Green Globes Certification
AF’s Home Office building is a Green Globes-certified building, on the path to achieve lower energy and water bills, reduce emissions, minimize waste and optimize health and wellness benefits.
  • The building’s HVAC equipment has been updated to be more environmentally friendly, and lighting throughout the building was converted to LED fixtures in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.
  • Each floor throughout the building is equipped with a water fountain designed to refill bottles.
  • Each floor throughout the building has designated recycling bins.
  • A battery-recycling box is available for Colleagues to deposit their household batteries and keep them out of the landfills.   Our carpet floor tiles are Cradle to Cradle certified.
  • Our carpet floor tiles are Cradle to Cradle certified.
  • We have an EV charging station available for Colleagues to use at the office.
  • Colleagues are printing double-sided when paper is necessary. We use the Secure Print function that has been effective in helping eliminate waste. Tens of thousands of pages of paper are saved with this function.

AF Pressing the Environmental Issues

Responsibly Sourced Paper
Our onsite print shop uses paper that comes from mills that receive their wood from sources that practice responsible forestry management, and when possible, the paper also includes recycled materials.
Safer Cleaning Process
The equipment does not require solvents or other harmful chemicals that are commonly used for cleaning; an alcohol-based solution is used.
Recycled Cardboard Filler
A device perforates and crunches used cardboard boxes, creating a void fill material, which is used for packaging instead of plastic air pillows, when possible.
On-demand Printing
A just-in-time business model is in place for production printing, which eliminates the need for departmental storage rooms across the Company. Documents are printed as needed, which has reduced corporate document storage needs from about 3,000 square feet to 400.
Responsible Electronics Recycling
All electronic devices that need to be retired are sent through a recycling process that destroys machines in an environmentally responsible manner.
